Community Partners are musical organizations that share Music Center's broad goal of creating and supporting a vibrant musical community. Partners are separate, independent organizations, each with its own staff and governance, but each make Music Center their home.   • Around the Sound Community Band

    The Around The Sound Community Band is an incorporated not-for-profit organization that values bringing music to the community. We provide an opportunity for musicians of all skill levels to enjoy a mutual experience in making music. We have a wide repertoire that includes traditional band literature, marches, pop tunes, movie and show tunes, new music, and more.

    Music Works Northwest is a nonprofit community music school, dedicated to changing lives through accessible music education and experiences.

    Founded in 1966 in Seattle’s Central District as the Imperials Drum and Bugle Corp, Music Works relocated to Bellevue in 1999. Each year Music Works provides individual music lessons, music classes, music therapy, summer and winter camps and free concerts to thousands of King County residents.
